When Danielle started telling me Jay’s story, I could feel chills all over my body. These photos were truly a healing journey within. From his life in the military, to his transition into a man. Still learning how to love his divine feminine essence.
I think we all carry feminine and masculine energy within us and both fully want to be seen, heard and loved.
These photos truly capture such a gorgeous example of union between the two.
A story of a Sacred Spiritual Photography journey themed and styled around The Goddess and Divine
The inner marriage and divine union of ones masculine and feminine energies.
What truly is feminine and masculine energy versus expression? I would love to hear your thoughts.
Greetings Beautiful One...
When I was a young child my father would often preach to my sisters and I "Be true to yourself". Being the eldest of three girls I felt the need to live up to societies expectations of what the perfect daughter should be, along with setting a good example for my younger sisters. At age 18 I enlisted in the Air Force as Military Police, which was a true struggle, because I wasn’t allowed to live authentically. I was forced to live a lie. It got to the point I could no longer bear living that lie and attempted to end my life. At this time I knew I had no other option but to courageously start living my truth. That is when I began to physically transition and identify as male. During this time I took my first yoga class and developed my first healthy addiction.
Yoga has allowed me to safely express my true self, one who is a gentle soul with the perfect balance of masculine and feminine energy. Through yoga I have learned that we are forever transitioning and discovering what it means to live aligned with our true north.
After several years of diving fully into my practice, I traveled to the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, India and received my International Teacher Training certification in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. This has now allowed me to share this enriching practice with others.
My passion is to help inspire others to live their truth; physically, mentally and spiritually, whatever their truth may be! My personal mantra is: “Be You, Be True, That’s Beautiful.” When a person is living their own personal truth, they will enjoy living a life feeling more liberated, happy and fulfilled! Isn’t that what this journey, called life, is all about?
Are you living your truth? If not, who’s truths are you living? Join me and together we can break through limitations and propel your life in the direction you desire!
